Webber's Shamlet Mask

Recommended Posts

Webber's shamlet mask doesn't provide any protection against the fog, which is weird because Wagstaff doesn't have this problem with his goggles. Since Webber needs the mask on at all times if he wants to interact or even be near the pig city (which is almost all game), he is severely crippled in Humid season because he has two options:
-Keep the mask on and be slowed down to a crawl

-Put on a Pith hat and make every pig guard aggro onto you.

This normally wouldn't be a problem but with the introduction of Wagstaff which doesn't go through any of these problems with his character-specific head item on, it just feels unfair to Webber.

In simpler words: Can we please have Webber's Shamlet mask give immunity to being slowed down by the fog?

As Webber/any character you could:

1. deal with it, like Wigfrid during lush season

2. place a coin in the middle of a 3x3 walls making all Pig knights a non-issue

3. always base outside pig towns/cities preferably near a pond for easy logs (like me)

(p.s. fog doesn't affect you in temples)

1. Wigfrid isn't naturally hated by pigs.

2. Normal pigs and shopkeepers still hate you

3. That's naturally frowned upon because basing in the city practically takes care of your every need if you have the money.

(ps. it doesn't.)

(pps. Wagstaff has this perk of fog resistance and Webber arguably needs it much more)

1. Ik but Wigfrid can't eat nettles/tea cones, she can only uses fan (stationary) or use gas mask

2. you can put the mask on and you can still buy things

3. Idk about being (naturally frowned upon) since basing in the wilds is the same as V/Rog/Sw

4. yes, the city is good if you have the onics BUT if you base in the wilds,

you don't really have to deal with onics

your near the majority of biomes  (i.e. no running back 'n' forth though the tea biome to waste time)

no knights "accidently" burning everything

easy logs via hippo-Goose/mants

building your own city is some-what easier (I say this cause of the lack of pig skin but more boards and materials)

(P.s. Webber being near the ponds means more spider friends; Webber living in the wilds means less need of the pig mask)
