Liquid/gas splitter suggestion.

Basically an automation building (something like liquid/gas fliters) that when receives sygnal switches incoming gas/liquid between pipes.

Something like this

This would help if, for example, you only want liquid above 90*C to be cooled down, cuz you don't want to break pipes by making ice inside tchem. Or something like that 

Idk if something like this already exists.

I think it`s possible with a liquid shutoff. A sensor before the shutoff and the pipe extending futher from the input. If it`s active the liquid goes through the shutoff if standby it goes further through the pipe. Works as long as it doesn`t back up through the shutoff. I that case you`d need a secons shutoff and a not gate.
