pipe element sensor

Recommended Posts

Temperature sensor not work like this? If you setup pipe temperature sensor and set temperature to "below -272C"(or "above -273C") it should trigger for any stuff in pipe which temp above -273C(which is anything except liquid helium), and empty pipe considered as -273C, so in 99.9% cases you could check if pipe empty or there something(any gas/liquid) inside.  Not sure how right now, but some time ago this worked.

I remember they changed it some time ago so that the temp sensor remembers the temperature of the last packet that came through. Even though it shows absolute zero when there`s nothing in it sends the automation signal based on the last packet that passed it. I don`t think it changed since then.

Seems like they intended it to not be used to detect if stuff is in the pipes.
