Extremely high energy required and utilizes space materials that efficiently conduct and store energy at a fraction of the size of regular batteries. Sasza22 Posted April 9, 2019 Share Posted April 9, 2019 There was an idea of an ion thruster (not the engine but an extra thruster) that increases the range significantly but can`t carry the rocket on it`s own. btw: if we get that we need the super efficient batteries to be usable in our base as well.
