Mod Request: Unassign after use

Anyone who knows how who would be willing to make a mod that adds a button that causes a building like a mess table or cot to become unassigned after it's been used?

Getting so fed up manually unassigning them in order to make dupes hot-bunk.

It's something I've requested several times over the last two years but it doesn't seem like the devs found it interesting. I'd just like to have beds and mess tables automatically set to "public" just like lavatories unless I specifically assign it to a single dupe.
