Madbro
Hello guys! (•ω•) The idea is simple, that is what you can find in your daily life - it is in the power distribution device in your home (that box with lots of switches). I mean the RCBO (residual current breakers with overcurrent protection). It will cut the circuit once you overload the power network, act like an automated power shutoff. But if you want to reconnect the circuit, that will need your duplicants to reset the device manually. So can this be applied into the game? The Plum Gate
Well, I can see this being useful on the heavy stuff. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103037-emergency-power-shutoff-device/#findComment-1157266 Share on other sites
Madbro
BUT to enhance flexibility of the shutoff, I am trying to give it something like ‘shutoff piority’. Like who will be shutting down automatically at first while other keeps operating smoothly until another overload. (I’m not good at explaining those stuff, but hope you can understand what I’m saying.) mircomars
an ampere sensor (comparable to 'pipe temp sensor') would be nice. I'd love to be able to prioritize buildings on the same grid, like "only power this pump and the crusher if anything else combined drags < 600 W" (guess that's what madbro was aiming at, too) okay we'd need to weave in some S-Rs to prevent feedback jitter but for my liking totally worth it.
