WeSaidMeh
We have sensors in batteries, and in (smart) storage. Why isn’t there sensors available for gas/liquid storage tanks/reservoirs? Those tanks do a great job as buffers in gas/liquid loops. Adding the “Above/Below x kg” sensor functionality would allow us to detect how “full” the loop is, and add proper automation to manage the loop contents. If this is intended like it is now, maybe add “smart” gas/liquid tanks?
scaldinghotcarl
I suggested controls like that of the smart battery, so you can get hysteresis without using a SR gate. Since you mention smart storage, does anyone know why they require power and emit heat? The latter is probably the result of the former, but there are plenty of sensors that don't require power to change states.
cpy
This was already suggested and I'm not sure if it's due to performance reasons or complexity that they don't do this? Who knows, QOL2 is probably a thing. We can always hope.
Craigjw
I've suggested this myself as well as others. Some automation like batteries have would be super awesome.
karyuendan08
I think it is not intended to have automation, you guys can aways put it above a automated door to disable reservoirs
Garueri
+1 thats not hearting nobody souls anyway, and would make our lifes easier so why not ?
