vovik Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Duplicant should have behavior traits, that take place in between bad and good traits. Cause right now they feel more like robots. Something like: Night owl - doesnt sleep at night, sleeps some time during day Workaholic - stress relief when working, stress increase when idle(suggested before) Lazy - sress relief when idle, more stress when working, less food and oxygen usage when not working. Loner - tries to stay away from others, do jobs in places that have no dupes around, move away from dupes when idle.. etc Social - opposite of loner. Prig - always completes current job. No matter what, unless forced to do another by changing tasks. Stress relief when in room without any dead ends of ventilations/automation/power/plumbing and no debris around. Tidy - stress relief when no debris around in some distance, more stress from debris around. Sweeping and desinfect jobs cannot be unchecked. When cannot sweep and idle - tends to combine stacks of materials and desinfect stuff around. Gets grimy slower, higher stress from having soggy feet, being wet, being grimy. Careless - tends to change jobs more often. Creative - prefers art jobs, if there are tasks in same priority as art job - he will pick art jobs, art job canot be unchecked. Stealthy - no aggro from mobs when simply walking around not performing any tasks, +damage for some seconds when attacking unaggroed^^, no influence from decor or suits on other duplicants, sometimes jumpscares other dups when walking by. No steps sound (or quited). Absentminded - picks random job from current highest priority, doesnt pick closest one. Cooperative - prefers doing job same as another duplicant nearby if same priority. Supportive - sometimes cheers other working duplicants when passing, giving small stress relief when cheering. Gats stressed when cannot cheer anyone. Energized - does jobs much faster, burns more calories when working. Stress tolerant - no stress response for few cycles when hitting stress cap. Volative - stress changes are very fast in both directions. Completionist - gets small stresss relief when finishing any job (after cotinuosly doing it), gets stress debuff when left job unfinished. Tech maniac - gets stress relief when constructing any machinery, by operating any machinery. Tech hater - oposite of tech maniac. Nature lover - stress relief when around animals or plants. Clumsy - may fall down when climbing around or slip when walking, has some probability to get special scene when jumpscared by stealthy dup. Irritating - annoys other dupes by interrupting their current work, gets stress relief when succsessfully interrupted someones job.' And many, many others.... I really hope that this is planned or going to be implemented, cause its boring to see dupes doing same things all around. Coolthulhu Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Picky eater - can't eat food that would cause stress. Gymnast - climbs (tiles, not ladders) and jumps at full walking speed. Tiny - takes only 1 tile (can walk under things, like a hatch), but has smaller reach. Slob - can't wash hands (includes bleach stone washing) or perform disinfection. Cheerful - if stress drops to 0% for long enough, the dupe will get a reverse stress reaction: they'll display a radiant smile for some time, giving passing dupes a -5% stress/cycle for this cycle. Then will gain some stress due to burnout. Insomniac - will only go to sleep when stamina drops to 0%. If woken up by loud sleepers or coughing, will not go back to sleep until stamina drops back to 0%. Nyctophobic - +5% stress/cycle when in the darkness.
