SenL
What are those three parameters?Example:inst.Light:SetColour(180 / 255, 195 / 255, 150 / 255) I thought they were RGB or RBG but they are not... Edit:Ok it is Red-Green-Something.I set SetIntensity to 2 and it broke the lightFound out Intensity is percentage Edited March 19, 2015 by SenL Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/52162-lightsetcolour/ Share on other sites
Maris
intensity == 1 --foursquare.intensity from 0.2 to 0.8 acts like blur. There is also "Falloff". If it's set to 0.9 or lower, it hacks world light. Proper values are 1 and more. True intensity. SenL
How do you do "blue" light?Red is setcolour(255/255, 0/255, 0/255)Green is setcolour(0/255, 255/255, 0/255)But (0/255, 0/255, 255/255) is not blue ... it's kind of like white or natural... DarkXero
The light is actually blue. I think it has more to do with colourcubes and ambient lighting, notice how the same light is seen different between day, dusk, and night. You can appreciate the blue better during dusk. The red light is intense during dusk, but during night you will see it turn into a white with a hint of red.Not to mention if you are insane, everything turns into black and white. Unfortunately I don't know enough colourcubes, lerps, and ambient lighting to help more. rezecib
The color cubes are a post-processing filter, I believe. So for example, the yellowish tint of autumn is caused by reducing the blue output of everything on screen. DarkXero
Now that you mention it, when playing with the lights, I managed Wilson to look as white as the tex files show, in autumn.More blue to counteract the reduction. The same issue happened here: http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/51950-need-help-custom-character-is-brighter-ingame-than-image-files/ Edit: final note.If yellow is applied by the game, then blue light + yellow light (result of red light + green light) yields what SenL was saying, white. That's RGB. Edited March 22, 2015 by DarkXero Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/52162-lightsetcolour/#findComment-623875 Share on other sites
