Steps to Reproduce
check the database for Polluted Dirt.

User Feedback

But when you heat polluted dirt at 1,172.9 degree in game it changes to molten glass as described. The database entry is correct based on in-game behavior.

polluted dirt, doesn't it become dirt somewhere at 115 degrees?

Seems like I posted an invalid bug then. But it is pretty unexplainable. if dirt would become sand on the way to molten glass, i could believe it a bit easier.

Maybe you make confusion with polluted water, that turns into steam at 119.4°C and leave a small amount of dirt on the ground.

I saw somebody test the temperatures where different organics change into dirt and sand. Polluted dirt didn`t change until it was heated up to the point it changed into glass. So the tooltip is correct.
