Automation pack - string issues

While a couple > 1 year old issues were fixed with this update, some are still present and new ones appeared:

Welcome screen:

* Text on the top left part still doesn't use translated strings ("AUTOMATION PACK!", "JOIN THE DISCUSSION" and the text below, "LAUNCHED")

Ingame:

* the sweepy status window displays an empty square

* The sweepy item selector uses the receptacle strings (ie: STRINGS.UI.UISIDESCREENS.BASICRECEPTACLE.TITLE, STRINGS.UI.UISIDESCREENS.BASICRECEPTACLE.SELECT_DESC) which don't make sense for sweepy.

User Feedback


More issues:

* The "dust bin full" message doesn't use the STRINGS.ROBOTS.STATUSITEMS.DUSTBINFULL.NAME translation

* When selecting a sweepy, "entity prefab has no info description component" appears but cannot be translated (looks like a debug message that's not supposed to be shown to players)

A couple new elements are listed on the sweepy material selector which shouldn't be there (related to the future nuclear update)

@fatheroctopus not fully fixed in the preview branch. The empty info line is back after pimping sweepy with a random item.

The "empty prefab has no info description component" message is also still present

and the new messages also don't use the translated strings

Fix for "empty prefab has no info description component" is on the way.

@krop I'm having trouble reproducing the empty status info line pictured above though. Does it happen consistently for you?

Nope. I'm trying different things to reproduce. No luck yet. The only thing I managed to do is that :)

ok, I don't think that how I saw the issue before but here's how I got it this time:

- a dock was added, a sweepy came out of it and started cleaning

- sleep time arrived, the robot went back to its dock and voila

it also revealed a missing tooltip :)

I revisited this again with AP-408218D.

I briefly see the empty status when doing this:

- Change the game speed to slow,

- Assign an item to sweepy,

- wait until a duplicant delivered the item.

For a couple seconds, sweepy has an empty status message and positive reaction on the line below. Both status then change when sweepy goes back to work.

 

I also have a semi-reliable way to reproduce the floating sweepy object:

- select sweepy and never deselect it

- choose an object, wait for a duplicant to deliver it, click on the button to remove sweepy's decoration and click on the select button again

- a duplicant will decorate sweepy again and after a couple seconds, the object is floating and you can select another item in the list.
