Eyeplants can't eat Sea Fishing Rods

I've tried several times now to dispose of all the excess rods I get from sunken chests via lureplants, but the eyeplants always ignore the rod.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Drop Sea Fishing Rod near Eyeplant.

2. Wait.

3. Waaaaaaaaait...

Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Eyeplants also can't eat Walter's Trusty Slingshot, it was weird (I tried it multiple times, a while back). Probably need to resort to throwing into ocean. Also, I'm not a voidwalker so I don't use void as trash can, but that's also another option.

Maybe it's because these two items have an inventory to them?

Otherwise the Lureplant would also eat Backpacks and Krampus Sacks too, which might be why they aren't eating these unwanted items.

Maybe letting these two items be burnable would be a good alternative?

Walter's slingshot can be easily burned. Just set something next to it on fire
