User Feedback

Thanks. The crash will be fixed in the next update.

Would you be able to attach your recipe book file so I can take a look and see what state it is in?
The file is located here: \Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\client_save\recipebook

@Kynoox_ Thanks!
I'm not sure how your recipe book got into this state, but if you would like to recover it then follow these steps.

1) Close DST
2) Make a copy of your recipe book as a backup!
3) Open the original recipebook file in a text editor of your choice
4) Find each occurrence of ",true" (without the quotes) and delete it, then save and close the file
5) Run DST to check if the crash is resolved
- If the recipe book is empty then something went wrong. Restore your backup file and try the above steps again.

@ScottHansenThis was caused by a previous version of my mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1421994079

I accidentally saved a boolean over the matchedcraving and the game saved it to the recipebook which caused these invalid tags. My mod currently fixes this as long as they have the latest version and have it enabled on load.

Sorry about this.

Thanks for letting me know. I figured this was due to a mod but couldn't find any that would have caused it.

To everyone else, please update glass arrows mod (linked above) to resolve the crash.

  • Thanks 1
