Material is not being recognized by the game any longer

Recommended Posts

Hey!

So I was wondering why nobody seems to have this issue that I'm having. Basically my Refined Metal Copper isn't being "recognized" by the game any longer. It does not appear in the material list any more and it does not count as a material that I could build anything with, meaning that if I try to build something using it, it will say I have none in stock. Even though I clearly have it laying on the floor and/or in storage. Even freshly produced Copper isn't recognized.

Did anyone ever hear of such an issue? Is this a bug?

I also answered in a bug report that was filed over a year ago that seems to address a similar issue but doesn't seem to have been resolved:

Anyways, thanks for reading guys!

Make sure you don't have build orders somewhere that are already allocated the material.  Considering it shows 45kg on the right, but 320kg sitting on the floor, I suspect that might be the issue.

However, it would still show the whole material amount on the top right, no? What is also intriguing is the fact, that I cannot have the material queued when it was just freshly produced.

I will check what you suggested anyways, thanks for the input!

I'm pretty sure it'll only show the amount that's unallocated.  I know you can hover the cursor over the item on the list at the right and the tooltip will show how much is allocated out of how much you have total, so maybe try that and see what it says.
