New critter

My idea is to have a hostile critter. It would be a parasitic worm that can stow away on your rocket ship or rarely appear when an asteroid hits. The worm would grip itself onto a dupes head and it will control them until it's dead or until it depletes the dupe of all its health. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Controlling till death is fine by me. But depleting dupe health seems a bit overkill... especially when you consider dupe is really, really fragile. I would rather have this worm more like depleting hunger and can only be remove in pharma chamber, so until remove it will cause dupe to repeatedly eat to stay alive. This is not as fatal but require more management and could cause catastrophe if not manage carefully. I mean, starvation is risk to all.

Other way around is for worm to have very low life span, or be killed in some fluid (either liquid or gas). Like hatch who won't even try to escape from any liquid pouring over him. Or germs which got disinfected by chroline. But being controlled, dupe themselves would stay away from what kill worm. Or something like that.

BTW I think some neutral critters can be possible.

Like Syrupslime somthing slimy creatures are combinded with bees. Really toxic bites, but it produces delicious honey.

I like the idea of the parasites arriving from rocketships, making that the danger source can come from there of all places
