Pith pike and spiral spear should be battle spear reskins

IIRC isn't pith pike already a skin in the game? They added it in the beta...right?

Or have I entered an alternate reality?

They’re skins currently available in the Forge Beta. However, as my friend here pointed out, they’re skins for the regular spear, instead of Wigfrid’s.

I do have to agree with the idea here. It feels weird that an item unique to Wigfrid in the Forge is not a unique item outside of it. Besides, Wickerbottom already has an exclusive skin in the form of her book (The End Is Nigh! iirc.), so why not give Wigfrid one as well?

That is exactly why it DOES matter. If you want to use better weapons then a spear, but still have a cool skin you could swap to wigfrid and craft a bunch of cool skins then back. Unlike battle Spears, Spears aren't late game weapons and the problem is that we barely get those. Instead of luxery axe, we get a regular axe skin.

Only if battle spear became a learned craftable for any character to build later on in my opinion.
