GetNerfedOn
After the obliteration my previous worlds, I leapt into a new one with wild abandon, ready to flourish with my newest and best main, Wickerbottom. My aim was to destroy the dragonfly before winter so as to gain the Scaled Furnace during the first cold seasons. Thanks to properly knowing how to make a wall this time, it worked out well: I soon geared up to defeat the Deerclops, but then i died for the first time due to consistently getting swarmed by Nightmare Creatures. Right when he had a hundred health left. However, i had put up a sign labeled "clops bait" near the nearest touchstone to my base, which resulted in: WHO'S PUNCHING NOW, WOLFGANG?! (At this point i'm giggling fit to burst.) I had no time to waste. I immediately went out hunting, gathered veggies, and set out to make more pierogies to slay Klaus, whose sack seems to despawn after winter now... The sack used to stick around all-year round :/ ooch, ouch. I took up the last of my pigskin, created 7 helmets, and went after Klaus. Suffice to say i rollbacked countless times: By now you have a rough idea of how much i've rollbacked and died and rollbacked and died and rollbacked and died again. At this point, my friends the frogs made their entrance via precipitation, but i redirected them to a nearby Goose, which took several tries, seeing as was caught between three fires. Thankfully, with more rollbacks, I finally slew the Klaus, and beheld the fruits of my labour: s This is the best and luckiest Klaus drop i have ever gotten. Period. Next up was summer, and I intended to slay the Bee Queen... But with the effort came the lack of pig skin due to previous fights, the frustration of being stunlocked and killed by swamp life repeatedly, the anger at having shadow creatures drive you into your tentacles in panic, and the added rage of being slain by your own tentacle pad while you hammer down the Gigantic Beehive. AND OF COURSE THERE IS THAT TIME WHERE I REVIVE USING A LIFE AMULET BESIDE A TENTACLE AND IT KILLS ME AS I GET UP UGH. THAT IS EMBARASSING AND ENRAGING ON EQUAL NOTES. UGHHH. As of now, I'm taking a break. This boss rush of sorts has been bloody taxing. Going to leave the tentacle pad alone and try to take out the Antlion before i do in the Bee queen. Tho, I've a question... Aside from pig houses and heads on sticks, and the dicey business of slaying Werepigs, how do i amass pigskin??? Thanks for reading, y'all! You can't. That is all you can do, to get pigskins, in DST. However, you can use alternatives, like Logsuits. You can also preserve the durability of your armor, by wearing a logsuit, and a football helmet at the same time.
