Any mods to change monster meat to 0.5 meat instead of 1?

Well, you can change it in your prefabs/tuning file yourself(assuming you are hosting it locally). Will have to manually do it on every update though, unless you make it a small mod. I believe you do t need to spread it to other clients.

@landromat I put together a simple mod that changes the value of monster meat (raw, cooked, and dried) to 0.5 meat.
