Clothing checkpoint

Is there a way to get dupes to dress a certain clothing item when passing a certain checkpoint (like for example don a sweater when entering a cold biome)?

Otherwise is there any negative impact if they wear something like a sweater constantly?

Dunno if it's still that way, but wrong insulation could cause hypothermia/heatstroke.
Give them snazzy suits.

Answer is no which is why sweaters never made sense.  Plus exosuits are far better option for extremes in temperature

Yeah, map had no tumble reed close by, so had to explore without exosuits.  Found some lockers in a nearby cold biome so was thinking if I could use the sweaters effectively.  Unfortunately dupes kinda refuse to wear them anyway and without automation it's almost unusable.

Well getting mu first exosuit so it doesn't make much difference.

The positive is that I learned exploration without exosuits is not all that difficult even on miserable/fatalistic/surrounded by slime.  One just needs to plan accordingly and setup slime handling (luckily had bleach stone nearby).
