StarSquid
Currently, shove voles are hard to contain, have seemingly bottomless appetites, and don't do anything besides eating regolith, dirt, and iron. If they could somehow produce any other resource, maybe a gas (carbon dioxide? Oxygen?) it would be incredibly helpful and make it worthwhile to ranch them. Gwido
I don't reach them yet, but it seems that the purpose of this critter is to reduce the amount of regolith on the surface. I my opinion, it's already enough. Sasza22
I don`t think there`s currently a reason to ranch them. they are just there to eat the loose regolith and form tiles so you don`t have to rush a protective wall over your asteroid. But it`d be cool if they did something else too. Also morphs give us morphs. And balance the dirt and iron ore consumption to something around 5% the amount of regolith they eat. Then maybe the morphs could produce something more useful from dirt and iron ore.
