Does someone knows about what can Gulp fish do?

Hi I noticed that my Gulp fish is using Pwater of 30 C but emitting 17C clean water. Seems useful in small scale. I wonder if anyone knows if it cleans germs too? Or what's its limit on temperature management.

Gulp fish convert polluted water to clean. I don`t know if they clean the germs but i doubt it. They are hard to keep alive though as they require really low tempertures to survive. They can actually produce ice when put in sub zero polluted water.

They're nice if you have a slush geyser, if you want a super low-power method for getting cold freshwater. A sieve with a complicated cooling chain will probably net you more benefit in the long run though.

For taming them, i was thinking about separating breeding and production, keeping one gulp healthy and using its offsprings. Sounds very evil. But just thinking. About germ, i think it's possible, since germs die quickly and I would imagine Gulps have cold stomach. Or less than possible.
