crypticorb Posted October 14, 2018 Share Posted October 14, 2018 Other than using materials that are currently unavailable to build pumps, have you tried a door pump system? If a steam rocket, just capture the steam with a set of door pumps and pump it to the right place with a thermium pump. Nickerooni Posted October 15, 2018 Share Posted October 15, 2018 My plan was to circulate hydrogen in wolframite pipes under the rocket. The melting point is appropriate and hydrogen is the best gas for moving heat around. The gas could circulate back into a steam under your turbine.
