Asymmetrical limbs?

I've been playing around with a character mod (for the first time, disclaimer) and have been thinking of giving this character one arm that differs from the other, but as far as I know, the files uses all files in in the arm/hand folders. Is it possible to create a character with asymmetrical limbs? If so, are there any examples or maybe even some sort of guide I can be pointed towards so I'm on the right track?

For reference, the character I'm working with has one weird demonic, glowing arm, while the other is normal.

i think if you make a folder called arm 2 it can work?

Don't you have to make every limb in its own .tex file?

I made an invisible character by using blank png files. But if you want to change your character's animation, that's a different story.
