ArunPrasath Posted August 27, 2018 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Hi All, While the new update does introduce a new plant and an animal, we are in a dire need a new germs and (good) bacteria. These can be very easily introduced into the game by the extra-terrestrial visit to other planets. Some examples of these germs can be: 1. Whole body Warts - pustules everywhere in the dupe's body 2. Hair Fall - increases the stress for 5 cycles/until it grows back 3. Purifying Bacteria : purifies water in 4:1 ratio - purifies 1kg of water into 800g pure water and 200g polluted dirt. To counter the quick killing of new germs when the rocket's back to the colony (player can have numerous washing sinks in a row to remove the germs), we can make sure everything including the entire shuttle is infected by the germ. Some examples of new diseases are: 4. Alzheimer’s - occurs randomly when dupes are getting old (500cycles+). More likely to happen to scientists? etc? Some possible modifiers to dupes can be: 5. Coma - Accidents during building can lead to coma. 6. Depression - happens when dupes's morale is low. Lasts for 3 cycles and causes the dupe to have more accidents. Sasza22 Posted August 27, 2018 Share Posted August 27, 2018 I think we could use some sort of rot bacteria. It would be produced by dead duplicants and rotten meat (possibly morbs too). It would accelerate food spoilage and not die on tiles (so there is a reason to use plastic tiles).
