Saturnus Posted August 26, 2018 Share Posted August 26, 2018 Any building that has an integrated floor, currently solar panel and steam turbine, are perfect meteor shields. They break but does not let any meteors through even after breaking. And they let sunlight through unimpeded. Obviously the material cost for solar panels make them a far better choice than steam turbines as they require just 28.6kg glass or diamond per tile while steam turbines require 40kg of plastic per tile and 160kg of refined metal per tile.
