Walking on Tiles/Liquid with Bacteria will spread germs onto the Duplicant, and Grimy causes bacteria on their skin to spread onto the tiles as they walk

Simply said: If a duplicant were to walk on a tile, natural or not, some bacteria will be put on the Duplicant as if they were to interact with it, but much less so walking through a passage with bacteria on it won’t make them amass a million germs. However, a clean duplicant will not spread germs, only contract them onto themselves. But someone with th Grimy debuff will.

Walking in Liquid with bacteria (Such as puddles or pools of liquid) will spread more germs onto the duplicant than a regular tile, if they got the Grimy debuff, but Polluted water will instantly afflict Grimy anyways so Polluted water puddles is much more dangerous in terms of bacteria spread.

This suggestion will fix several things at once. For one, it makes the Bacteria system a little more unpredictable, which in my opinion is needed, how come that submerging yourself in sickly water won’t do anything? Secondly, it gives Showers a long needed use. No more stinky dupes with zero penalty. And finally, Plastic Tiles and Disinfection of tiles actually mean something. Plastic Ladders are kind if useful but Plastic Tiles are just less thermally conductive and not as pretty Metal Tiles.

I think this’d be a nice change to adress several things at once.

Spreading microbes by walking in liquid is something that needs to happen. Current diseases don`t live long on solid tiles anyway but if we get a new one that does then it should spread to tiles dupes walk on more easily so plastic tiles have a purpose. Nice idea to link it with the grimy debuff.

I vote against this ideas IF the only way to clean Germs is chlorine or a lot of duplicant disinfecting. I belt a water storage against a slime biome once, and every morning an army of duplicant go to disinfect, until i eventually disabled disinfecting.  they take a lot of time for some thing in my case was harmless (it was clean water pool).

we do need more germs, its probably just not easy to find creative balanced ideas, and i mean "Germs" not their diseases. thinking of debuffs is more easy.
