Slvrsrfr
Is it possible the engine can handle a tile that a ladder goes 'behind'? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94634-just-curious/ Share on other sites
Sasza22
Ladders can be entombed by falling sand. It happens quite often. So technically yes the ladder is behind the sand. But it`s no longer usable so i guess that`s not what you meant. Slvrsrfr
but it's a start. I'd not considered that the engine can sense something 'in front' of the ladder. Which in a slight way, implies the algo can 'see' the difference. Cairath
It's not "in front", it's in the same tile. The game sees one element per tile, thats why a few grams of gas in a room filled with high pressure of other gas will still take an entire cell. Visuals, aka displaying something in front or behind a tile is a different thing.
