WalterMatthau
Request to add an automation input to analyzed geysers. I have a Pincha farm boxed in with a cool steam geyser, and would like to prevent dupes from entering during and shortly after an eruption. A buffer gate would make this possible. martosss
You can actually make a clock and measure when the steam geyser errupts in order to take action. Here's a link to my version of a multi-cycle clock: This clock uses 8 logic gates and can measure up to 65-66 cycles, so if your eruption is more often than that you can use it. If you have difficulties figuring out what numbers to input, you can tell me how often the geyser erupts and I can try helping you with the math. KittenIsAGeek
You can also throw a temp sensor in there and connect it to the door. If the temp is above, say, 100c, then don't let the door open. Now that you mention this, an atmo sensor might also work - when the geyser erupts with 3-4kg/s the pressure rises really fast, so even something like 2500g should work. Atmo sensor has 20kg max pressure, so you can go way above 2500g if you need to. I used this with a traffic control gate but i still think a an automation port on the geyser would be a much cleaner and more reliable system. It makes sense to connect automation to that little thingy spinning on the geyser.
