There is wayyyy too much hot Regolith

Recommended Posts

I just made a cold sludge geyser close to the surface usable. It did involve >500 cycles of clearing Regolith, which was lying on the Neutronium and heating up the sludge. As I only got to the surface at cycle 600, it was already lying there, nothing I could have done about it.

This is not fun! This is excessively boring and meaningless. And in addition, you cannot even see how much of that **** is lying there. Please fix this, either by drastically reducing the amount of Regolith, or by making clearing it a lot easier.

What is happening here?

The surface biome and meteors are all turning to debris. One could argue that the create regolith (squares, not debris) vs destroy regolith during each meteor strike needs to be adjusted.

Right now we lose the regolith squares but gain a ton of regolith debris. Too much debris AND too much square loss.

OP is suggesting a change in the debris side of things.

Oh i understand now. The meteros are spawning tons of regolith and crushing it all into debris creating tons of debris in a small area. Maybe regolith tiles destroyed by meteros should reform into tiles nearby after the hit then instead of spawning extra regolith and more debris. That would fix both problems.
