Proper Nursing and Quarantine

I've recently taken notice that when a duplicant suffers slimelung it will not only break quarantine to obtain food, but it will sneeze every single step toward the food storage and keep sneezing all the way back to the med bay table.  Not only is it unusual that the dupe sneezes so frequently they should be unable to breathe to the point of passing out, but why wouldn't the nursing duplicant deliver food to the patient like any care facility in real life would do?

In a fatalistic colony, all the constant sneezing from the trip is just making the others slowly get sick and entering this viscous cycle of spreading the plague until they all eventually get sick. The only remedy is to place a refrigerator in the med bay which is constantly powered and fully stocked, then lock out literally everyone but the nurse and patient... until the nurse eats the food meant for the patient.  It's honestly easier to kill the patient to cure the disease and stop the infection of the colony, as morbid as that is.

In a future update it would be really nice to see the caring duplicant deliver food to the patient so that quarantine is maintained and the colony isn't infected by them. If necessary there could be special hospital food in the apothecary which doesn't spoil but only sick duplicants can consume, so a food container in the med bay isn't raided by healthy dupes or the nurse.

Have caring dupes bring food from the closest reservr aka rimworld and make food boxes or frige a valid objects in med bay please.Also bringing food to sick dupes shod eb a jobthat can takeplace durin break time.

Also, it'd be nice if the expression update didn't break quarantine because slimelunged dupes going out of the med bay to drink at the watre cooler or back ot their cot at night kiiind of compllty destroy the point of having a sickbay. (I know l alredy reppoted that in another thread but I feel i deserve to be metioned twice)

Fully agreed. Having that said, it has been suggested a couple of times already and i would be willing to bet that one of the next 3 updates will be about medicine.

We got pets, we got space, we got expressions, now all we need are tools, radiation and doctors. And high temperature pumps.

Just put a fridge in your medbay. You can put placebo ther as well. This will make the dupe stay in the medbay instead of seeking food. I almost feel like a food container/fridge should be a required element of the medbay but i guess it has to many elements already.

yeah, indeed, the one who really need to be fed by others and being taken a good care are the sick duplicants. Especially they infected slimelung (but I haven’t heard about ‘sneezing at every moves’, that is really serious right?).

I dont know if 'every move' is right but yes it certainly feel like it. They have augmented the frequence of sneezing for Duplicants with slimelung quite a bit. They sneee a LOT and it make them moving from one point to another /really really/ slow.
