AnonymoScoot
After a long time figuring out how to modify and create custom worldgen, I created a custom challenging world that you can create from the main menu. Includes tweaks to default biomes ( some uncommon elements spawning ) and adds new biomes : ColdMines, AbsoluteCold, Desert and HotPockets In order to play custom worlds you need to have DebugMode enabled, then you can choose custom settings when creating world. Place the files in corresponding subfolders inside ONI's StreamingAssets, no overriding should occur, but backup the whole folder just in case. PhailRaptor
....perhaps being slightly more descriptive would be beneficial? I see there are some new Biomes on your map, but there's no information on them. Sevio
You might want to stir up some enthusiasm for your worldgen by telling us about what new things we can find, what new challenges we'll be facing. In any case, you appear to have made the starting biome cover the entire width of the map, which is convenient for newer players who are content to chill in their starting area while they figure out the game but it doesn't put much pressure on experienced players looking for new challenges. FenrirZeroZero
I think the twist is the thermal separation. You have to deal with constand low temp on the top and rising temp on the bottom. Problem: Even one Exo Suits makes this quite trivial. But yes some info would be nice. Is the map bigger/smaller? More/less Geysirs, Poi, Vulcano? New Biomes? Did you change the Critter Spawn? It seems to still be there, based on the screenshot presented. The left (standard view) of the screenshot, all the way at the top. You can see the pillars of regolith where the surface is. I'm also assuming that the map does not produce any additional Geysers over the standard map, predominately due to the fact that in the thermal screenshot, none of the new Biomes have the cold materials that are covering a bricked over Geyser.
