The problem ( which was solved by making dedicated servers ) was about people being able to spawn items via console and no you cant hide a prefab...

Yeah, that's the biggest problem with allowing players to host the limited time events on their own servers.

There would be some modding/cheating going on which is why Klei only hosts these events on their own servers.

I wouldn't mind a practice version of the event being given to us without any event chests so that even if people cheat it's not a huge deal.
