High Level Build/Dig job perks

Recommended Posts

As of right now, there are no special traits for the highest job level in building and digging. I suggested a step ladder/stool for that little extra range when you need to construct something just a little too far, and then realized this would be a great perk to include as a bonus for the high job tiers in digging and mining, increase their range by maybe 1 or 2 tiles! This could even be included with a step ladder of some sort that needs to be moved around for even more bonuses.

+1 for special skills when reaching highest job LVL

I would have a couple of suggestions.

Architect/builder could build 1 tile further.

Digger either dig 1 tile further or (my favourite) dig the background for extra resource and/or to remove the hideous colour clashes where biomes meet.

Scientists. Anything that makes them not useless as soon the all research is completed. Maybe something like a 10% building/digging speed bonus for dupes in a 10 tiles radius.

Cook. Should be able to cook with 10% less raw food. Just Like a good chef can cook with less waste than us mortals.

Farmer. 10% chance to get an extra food item when harvesting.

only tenured researchers can investigate geyser and such for specific activty/dormant times, though it's usefulness is debateable. i find it useful since i'm not gonna check each cycle what geyser became active/dormant and write it down somewhere

as for added skill might be nice if they nerf the base skills a bit then perhaps? though extended reach doesn't feel that usefull to me.. maybe they could just add a last job lvl which they can't master and only enoy the perks of when enlisted. makes you have to decide to get more mastered jobs first to increase skills or to use the preks

If we're taling job perks, there's one I fel that should not even be high level but would make sense:

-Janitors and Plumbers should get somewhere between 20% less to no stress at all (dependig on balance sake) from 'wet feet'. I mean mopping puddles is their job, they should get used to it.
