Craving Patterns

I am pretty sure that there are very few people who know this. Hope this info will help teams get higher scores.

 

Dessert cravings come out on rounds that are multiples of 4. They ONLY come out on these rounds.

For example:

• Round 4 = Dessert
• Round 8 = Dessert
• Round 12 = Dessert
• Round 16 = Dessert
• ........

 

After Round 9, there are 2 fixed patterns(special thanks to @RedTorch who first discovered that there are patterns)

Fish-Meat-Dessert(100%)

Pasta-Dessert(100%)

 

After Fish cravings, Meat cravings and dessert cravings immediately follow.

After Pasta cravings, Dessert cravings always follow.

Dessert only comes out after either Meat or Pasta.

Veggie cravings do not appear after Round 5.

Since Dessert only comes out on rounds that are multiples of 4, Fish, Meat and Pasta cravings can only come out on certain rounds. With this information it is possible to predict more than half of the cravings beforehand.

 

For example:

 

• .......
• Round 9:  This round can only be Soup, Cheese, Bread or Snack
• Round 10: This round can only be Soup, Cheese, Bread, Snack or Fish
• Round 11: If round 10 was Fish, this round is Meat(100%). If round 10 was not Fish, this round is Pasta(100%)
• Round 12: Dessert
• ........

 

Implications?

Fish, Meat and Pasta appear more frequently as cravings than Soup, Cheese, Bread or Snacks.

Dessert appears twice as frequently than Fish, Meat and Pasta.

You can predict more than half of the total cravings, so plan beforehand.

ive dont this research  Here are all the blocks I have confirmed discoverd:

I think ive gotten snack cheese pasta too BUT i stopped recording by then.  As you can see aside from fish and meat meals 1 and 2 are just all the ways snack cheese bread and soup can be arranged.  The early patterns that appear most often up to item 16 desert are:

soup     bread    snack    cheese    bread    soup
fish       fish        fish        soup        soup     bread
meat     meat     meat      pasta       pasta    pasta

The logic in the end appears to be an idea behind a 4 course meal.  So you're gonna start with something small, move to something smaller than your dinner, have dinner then have desert.  Up until recently snack used to be ALWAYS followed fish meat but once you past 16 everything gets thrown up into the air.

Desert is ALWAYS a craving that is a multiple of 4 and if the 2nd craving after desert ISN'T fish than the 3rd meal will ALWAYS be pasta.  Meat ALWAYS follows Fish.  I have yet to see this pattern broken.  Hope all this helps

My apologies, he was the first to tell me about it. It was on the same day so I guess seperate discoveries? Lol

Yep I think our findings are the same, the only difference is format. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting theory about the four course meal-that would mean that these patterns are intended mechanisms.

The cravings might also be affected by the other cravings the dishes you give can fulfill. For example, usually after the 1st dessert the Gnaw ask for either soup or snack; if you give it a veggie snack/soup, the Gnaw is less likely to ask for veggie in future rounds (the famous tomato soup comes to mind), but if you give it a meaty soup/snack, there might be a chance the Gnaw asks for veggies in future rounds (cannot confirm this yet myself though, but I am on the lookout). This is purely anecdotal, but I have had several matches where the Gnaw never, and I mean, NEVER asks for veggies after the 1st dessert, and I kept force-feeding the Gnaw until that round came (never did though...) for a personal goal of mine (all dishes, in all cravings, and with maximum reward with or without silver plate; right now I need to give dishes in cheese and veggie rounds to unlock them, but they all require milk so is hard to do before the 2nd dessert without rushing salt, and impossible before the 1st...; but that is useless if veggie or cheese round never comes anyway).
