Rosten Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 I think for the most part, it seems like Klei's development is focused heavily on DST; so, honestly, if you're a singleplayer fan looking to play Don't Starve, just play DST instead, if you had it before DST was a thing then you got it for free anyhow. I can imagine the practical reason for this is that they function differently on a foundation level and creating the same content for both at once would be pretty agonizing, not to mention the additional effort that comes with developing for console (And getting updates approved through Sony).
