Ainsley4ever
I am trying to make a custom map (maybe a challenge) and I don't want my duplicants to "start" in the middle (the starting biome) of the map . I can of course move them but the area remains discovered (no fog). With the sandbox tool we can manually dissipate the fog, but is it possible to create it again ? Or can we force duplicants to appear somewhere other than in the middle of the map ? And I would also like to know, is it possible (but I doubt it) to simply disable the starting biome so it doesn't appear when generating the map (the duplicants probably won't appear too but I can just spawn them afterwards)? You could try deleting the biome from the folders, but anything directly linked to it would go too. So hatches, most copper, dirt and sandstone deposits, shinebugs, mealwood etc. As for the dupes, I dno where they would spawn. FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
possible, but not an easy work. you have to adjust the code about grid.visibility (fog) and worldgen (sorry i cant recall the precise name). you should try to learn modloader first.
