making dirt

Dirt is easy since you can generate that amount of heat by accident. 

Oil to gas heat does require temps up around 700 which does need magma or metal geysers.

there is also the new glass but I have not gotten to the point of testing since molten glass has a super low heat capacity and might not convert all that much.

But for dirt you can use the waste heat from an aquatuner or refinery(using oil or petroleum as the coolant).

i'm only looking to make a room up to 125 to turn fertilizer to dirt, i could put a storage next to a metal volcano and put fertilizer there but also might have risk of it turn to sand

Dump a compactor full of it into oil with an aquatuner, would eventually heat up to 125, But you could use other things such as a hydrogen geyser etc they go to 150 degrees

Yeah I've gone both ways. If it is too hot to measure you use something like copper melting to trigger a liquid sensor or a pressure sensor to indicate you've converted enough gas.
