Meters for liquids, gases

Recommended Posts

It would be nice to have meters that just count what flowed through. This would be a directional in-line component for pipes, fitted with a reset button and simply displaying how much flowed in the given direction in kg. Had this idea last night, when I spent half an hour or so manually finding out how much water my base actually consumes.

That would be great.

I am not really sure what were the dificulties in calculations. You can simply check how much any machine consume and add up.

Not everything runs through a machine. If you're powering an electrolyzer, sure. But what if you've got a LOX machine? What if you're generating power? What if you're making steam? Not everything goes directly to a machine.

Would be helpful to determine how much water/gas is consumed or exhausted per cycle. Good Idea
