Please add forest biome

This would be a great addition, it could have various new wildlife, ponds with aquatic critters, large trees that produce small amounts of oxygen, but need water. so this biome could have some kinda rain type effects, and have a nice decor.

The rain type of effect could be a new gas called fog.

Being in it would make the dup damp or moist kinda like the soggy feet buff.

One could also cut these trees down for a wood element resource you could use in the coal power plant, i am sure it can be justified that its able to burn wood as well.

With wood, you could add a basic cooking fire that emits a ton of co2 and uses wood as its fuel, and runs very hot.

You could also have a non frozen version of wheat here, and the green leafs and bark off the trees say, could be a better resource for the research than dirt, as you could think of this as your sheets of note paper.

Forests sound interesting but maybe make it a Mushroom forest?  A photosynthesizing plant needs light which would mean shine bugs have to live in this forest, but if it's mushrooms that works regardless.

I've always thought that meal-wood should produce wood as well for building or burning, other forms of crop residues could work as well for burning or composting.

i agree to see some forrest wold mean DIRT lots and lots of dirt, fog and photosynthesis. all in all i love the idea.

I'd like this if it meant the ability to grow muck root. Love to see dupes eat those whole fruit lol.
