with the current update we now have a source for metal, but that does not included tungsten which is a rare type of metal and this metal can be used for power station but surely we dont want that, randomly picking up any refined metal to be processed into chips especially tungsten
this can be solved by adding a setting to power station as to what refined metal should be used, with this we can manage our resources more efficiently

For sur i need this, tungsten it's the only construction material can go above 1500°C and with a non comparable hardness

So it will made it the only construction material near a metal volcano that erupt liquid metal, if you close the volcano with metal tile made of copper, your tile will melt

The power station is pretty useless as it isn't a permanent upgrade, only lasts a few cycles from what I have noticed.

3 cycles if i remenber, but i will be a good gain of power sometimes (no need to use it 100 % of time, but usefull when you run out of power)

Its easy to force a particular metal to be used. Build a storage locker and an auto-sweeper nearby.  Set the storage locker to the metal you prefer to use and give it a lower priority than the PCS.  Better yet, use a smart storage compactor with a not gate.  When there isn't metal available, it disables the PCS so that dupes can't simply use whatever metals they like.  The moment there's metal in the compactor, the sweeper throws it into the PCS.
