smithdl
... When I pipe hot water to my plants if I use abysalite pipe all the way. When the plant "eats" the water, does the heat go away, or does it warm up the plant? Zarquan
I believe the heat is destroyed, but the stored water will heat the hydroponic tiles, which is dangerous (unless they changed it) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89259-what-happens/#findComment-1021096 Share on other sites
Jigsawn
Sadly hydroponics often turn into giant radiators unless you can cool the water, but that's the payoff. If you have wheezeworts, then plonking one above a hydrofarm using seived water will eventually lower the temperature enough for 8/10 bristleberries to grow. Took me a while though, maybe 20-30 cycles or more for the temperature to fall. Suggest building hydroponics away from mealwood farms at first, as if you keep them both in one farming area, the hydro farm can overheat the mealwood quite quickly unless the water is cooled.
