Grounds Keeper unique ability traits

Recommended Posts

I would like to see this guy have a 2nd rank that lets them do more than mop, basically just the mop action but it would be a trait called flood management.

They would use a bucket to create the 200 kg water bottles out of any depth of water you put the mop action on.

Also the grounds keeper could use a janitors closet job class station inside a janitors room type, using water maybe? as a resource to sweep / mop up tiles and ladders, so this action would be not a debris cleaning or disinfecting action but actually just sorta buff / sweep the tile giving it a decor / move speed buff until its covered in foot prints again.

Could be a great way to expand the grounds keeper job tree and give idle dups something valid to do.

And because of that the groundskeeper shall not be the one to repair stuff :D

I am still not sure what tasks are done by which job. Is refueling the coal generator a gofer or operator job?
Is digging up a plant from a farm tile (to replace it) a miner or a farmer job? (Because it seems like my farmers are not interested in doing this)

But something more unique for jobs sounds a generally good idea to me.
Instead of needing a tenured scientist for geysers I'd like to see an "geologist" doing these. To be a geologist (Tier 4 or 5) a Dupe has to have mastered Miner and Research Assistant and still prefers mining jobs but is the only one to analyze and maintain geysers (Buffing geysers in a later update maybe?)

Hmm...I think I am going to put my own suggestion thread up now ^^

I love this idea. There's no real reason why any depth can't be mopped.. if I create a spillway then have a dupe mop the area before it gets too deep, they will continue mopping until the area is clean, possibly creating 600kg+ bottles.
