Surfinite Posted February 28, 2018 Share Posted February 28, 2018 It takes far too many clicks to work out what material an object is made out of. There needs to be an overlay, where you can select a material and it highlights everything made out of that. I'm all for suggestions that achieve this in a better way, but it is something that is direly needed. Once every ten minutes or so I find myself clicking twice for every object that has a possibility of being made out of the material I'm lacking, so I can switch it. Sometimes you accidentally make stuff out of gold amalgam, and you don't find out for 20, 80, 200 cycles... We need an overlay or something that solves this please. Absolutely love the game. It still basically works, but this REALLY needs to be a built-in feature of the game. Personally I like the material color approach to solving the problem since it gives the information at a glance, no clicks/overlays/hovers needed. I would be okay with having it as a toggle/overlay if people don't like the aesthetics of coloring everything differently, but please put it in there somehow.
