Not Receiving Gifts/Skins, help?

I've heard that you can only receive 4 gift boxes per week and it resets every tuesday or thursday, yet, I'm still not receiving gifts.

Yes, I've played many hours, never idling. I'm playing on my (friend's) world and we're currently on the first spring. I'm getting sad because The Year of the Varg event is currently happening and I really want those chests.

It has been days, probably 4, since I've last received any boxes. Does anyone know what's going on and how can I fix it? I'd really appreciate it.

Are you playing online with your friends? Because you can get gifts only on online worlds.

The drops reset Thursdays, before the Klei dev stream, so somewhere now. If you start playing you should get your first weekly drops in one or two hours.

If none of these could help and you still don't get drops, you could look around in the bug section of the forums, maybe you find some helpful information there (there are more bugs about not getting gifts), or you could post your problem straigth there, the devs will be able to help.

If you post your client_log.txt file to the bug tracker after you've been playing in an online world for 30 minutes, then I can take a look at see what the issue is.

It's most likely due to your game client failing to talk to our item servers, which could be caused by a large number of things. You can try ipconfig /flushdns in a cmd window to try to refresh the dns cache, which on your machine might have an invalid address for our servers.
