Note that the jump from one door to the other is one way even if both doors are deconstructed - the duplicant can jump up one tile and over one tile gap even if there's that ledge, but will not jump back from there. So position of your testing duplicant when showing navigation affects whether the path is or isn't displayed. But duplicants should not be willing to step on upper edge of a door regardless whether it's open or closed. They climb on locked doors just fine, even pneumatic doors.
