Social interaction is necessary

Of course, the most important thing for cloning is to live, but love, friendship or conflict are all necessary.
Such as the success or failure of courtship, violence in life, these can be reflected in the game. In addition, I really need my little man has a rich life, not just for "easy living" and perfect cycle.

 

 

Relationships and social interactions would be a great idea. I think that the Dupes should work in shifts with some time off for interactions and personal needs. This would be a great way to introduce new rooms and objects centered around De-stressing. Dupe friendships and romances could be based around how much time Dupes spend around each other in their off time. This would also ramp up or lower the level at which Dupes morn. If someone is loved they will be mourned a lot more than if they are disliked for sleeping loudly, and so on. We could have loners and other personality types.

Rimworld implemented such a system quite well with colonists forming relationships, having social fights, getting married/divorced etc, it would be fun to see something similar in ONI since currently the Dupes feel like they ignore one another's presence the majority of the time except when a loud sleeper is resting in a nearby tile.

Having them react in some manner to a Dupe exhibiting their stress break action would be especially interesting, either consoling them and lowering stress if the friendship level is high, or physically intervening and stopping their stress action for a time, at the expense of lowering friendship with that dupe and causing an increased stress gain for them both for the next cycle or two?
