Vincie
Well... "Do once" and "do infinite" is a no good choice often, aspecially with metal ores and reffined ones - I often need both. My proposition is either make reffined metals useful for both, or add an option "make 10" and "make 100". Or... Maybe use that sweet little furnace concept there there is and make everything requireing reffined metals - just give a custom little furnace, using ore and coal. Also... If a machine requires maitnance, It could use an option of assigning a specific dupe to it. Coolthulhu
The biggest problem is that refined metals are only usable in very specific buildings. I assume it's to avoid bloating the resource selection list, but at this point it would be better to just make it bigger. Maybe +1, +5, +10, +25, +forever? 1, 10, 100, forever? Not sure what the granularity should be. 7 hours ago, Coolthulhu said: The biggest problem is that refined metals are only usable in very specific buildings. What would be the choice to the player, if all buildings could be made with refined vs unrefined metals? Better decor? Temperature resistance? Electrical efficiency?
