zxc9
Right now, if you want to install conductive wires, you either have to build a new network around your old one and dismantle the old one, or go without power for a long period of time. It would be really helpful to be able to replace wires with conductive ones or vice versa the same way tiles replace other blocks, instead. Also, maybe there should be a conductive transformer that can store 2000 energy instead of 1000. Neotix
Place new wires over old ones. They should replace them but i don't remember if devs fixed bug with materials recovery. About transformers, they can store 1kJ but actually transfer 4kW. Adding small battery after transformer will allow to use all transferred power. zxc9
Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the help! Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/86102-suggestion-wire-upgrading/#findComment-989832 Share on other sites
Saturnus
@Neotix is half right. You can drag conductive wires over normal wires to replace them but you can't do the same either of the heavi-watt wires types so the request is still valid, if only slightly modified.
