Howdy,

I'm a huge fan of seasonal events in Don't Starve Together and my friends and I often end up playing into the wee hours of the morning just because it's nice to break up the usual events of the game with some cheer and festivities!

On that topic, however, I think for being supposedly non-denominational Winter's Feast has a huge focus on Christmas. (The tree, the baubles, the presents, Klaus/Krampus, all the food being 'Christmas festivities' kind of food...) As I and a lot of my friends who play the game are Jewish(!!!) it can kind of be frustrating that this is supposed to be the in-universe equivalent of Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa - only one of the three feels properly represented here.

I'd like to suggest more foods from other holidays be added - for example, to represent Chanukah you could have (to keep it simple) latkes (fried potato pancakes), chocolate coins, and fried donuts? (Honestly any manner of fried food would do.) I can't speak on Kwanzaa, but I'm certain there's information on it online.

Some kind of counterpart to the Winter's Feast tree would be fun too - like a candelabra (to keep it slightly vague - no need to have it be an actual menorah or chanukiah) you can create with gold or something similar, and stock with nine candles that drop from enemies or have to be crafted, which, when fully stocked, burn for eight nights (think pumpkin lanterns) and have a slight sanity aura or something to that effect? Nothing fancy like gifts, but a little bit of light and cheer. :wilson_laugh:

EDIT: A trinket like a 'wooden spinner' would be fun to throw in as a Winter's Feast exclusive, like how Hallowed Nights has special trinkets! The Pig King could even give you candles for trinkets.

On a slightly related note - big fan of the Snowfallen skins! They all capture the spirit of winter without getting too wrapped up in one holiday or another. So kudos on that!

Thanks for hearing me out!
