So I want to transfer my save file of my world and my friend's characters from one computer to another (or D drive if it's possible). I check all the post about transferring save file but I still can't get a solution. I copy Save file in Klei/DontStarveTogether and put in a new computer but it doesn't works. Kittydub Posted December 27, 2017 Share Posted December 27, 2017 I always have to generate a brand new world first when I want to continue on another computer. I generate a new world (on the second computer) with the same settings as the one I want, then I quit the game and paste the file over the new generated world (in the correct cluster). Then I can just start up the server and continue playing.
